I am an Earth Mother, a tree hugger, an environmentalist, a conservationist, a proponent of natural building, a lightworker and a facilitator of healing, believing that our bodies are wondrously capable of healing themselves, if given a chance, without bombardment from chemicals. I believe each person, knowing their own body better than anyone, must take responsibility for their own health.
Toward that end, I am offering the following services (for more info on each, see separate pages):
Sound Therapy: I am a Certified Practitioner of the Tama-Do Academy of Sound, Color and Movement. This means I do energetic therapies using musical tuning forks (rather than needles) on the acupressure points of the meridians, as well as various other techniques involving sound, color and movement.
I am also trained in Bio-Geometry, having studied this with Dr. Ibrahim Karim, who was the Minister of Architecture in Egypt. These techniques can balance and neutralize dangerous electromagnetic vibrations in your home, making it a healthier place to live.
Since I cannot help but be creative (perhaps one of the last of the natural-born “martha stewart” breed), I make most of what I use; and offer the following products for sale:
1) Textile arts: I make and sell brocade and satin pouches in which to carry a set of 12 tuning forks; designer tote bags, satin evening bags, shimmery caftans “for the goddess without”, and misc. items for the home.
2) Other art: Oil painting, mosaics, designer painted chairs, and jewelry made of semi-precious stones and silver.
Having lived for quite a few years, I have developed expertise in many things, and would gladly lend my opinions and experience on the following subjects:
Natural building, particularly cob and straw bale; sustainable living, recycling and other environmental concerns; classical music (years of choral experience, including singing in Carnegie Hall, January 2009); Feng Shui; gardening, home food preservation; world travel; metaphysical, psychological & philosophical subjects.
My retirement days have been more full than my years in the public work force. I refrain from watching television, preferring to live my own life rather than watch others.
Yet besides travel, art, music and therapy work, I love to take time to have a nice cup of tea with a friend, and to write letters the old fashioned way–or email is okay, too. I’d love to hear from you!
