Located in Topeka, Kansas, I am the only certified Practitioner of the Tama-Do Academy of Sound, Color and Movement in the Midwest. Researched for 30 years and founded by Fabien Maman, this academy teaches an integrated program of using musical tuning forks on the acupressure points on the body, with the Cycle of Fifths on the Chakras; combining the 5 elements, Feng Shui, Qi Gong, Chinese Temperaments, Astrology, the seasons, and even the Kabbalah. My ongoing studies continue to be exciting and challenging, as there is no end to the learning of how the body responds to sound, color lights and essences. Tama-Do (which means “Way of the Soul”) is dedicated to the evolution of human consciousness, and offers courses in non-invasive techniques using sound, color and movement. I believe it is the wave of the future, and it is ever so rewarding to know that future generations will heal themselves mostly without chemicals.
Here is a list of the techniques used, the selection of which is dictated according to the client’s needs:
- Tuning Forks on Face, Ears & Feet (Four different protocols)
- Musical Spine–using tuning forks down both sides of the spine on the bladder meridian, effecting all the body organs
- Shu Points–Tuning forks on command points of the meridians, located on the hands and feet
- TEP–Technique that balances Chi with hands-on touch in the physical, sound in the emotional and color in the mental body
- Chakra re-alignment tubes–Sit in front of these heart-centered sounds for a quick “tune-up”
- Kototama–The ancient Japanese science of pure sound–toning acoustic instruments around the body
- Eight Qi Mo–Tuning forks on the 8 Extraordinary Meridians which run the main functions of the body, elevating energy to more subtle levels of consciousness
- Tao Yin Fa–Daily QiGong exercise to release emotional stress and provide inner peace & inspiration.
