“Somewhere over the Rainbow Bluebirds Fly”, Oil: 14″ X 18″
“Center of the Rainbow” is my business name, and it carries multiple meanings:
1) A place–open to all colors, races and creeds;
2) A reminder–of the “center” or “navel” of the world (e.g., Cuzco, Peru, whose flag contains all the rainbow colors–one of the places where I studied sacred ceremony with a Peruvian shaman);
3) Rainbow colors–like musical harmonics, as vibrations, are part of the healing modality I offer as a Practitioner of the Tama-Do Academy of Sound, Color and Movement. The color rays, from the heavens, bring us healing and love, and charge our energy fields.
4) THE “Center”–a state of cosmic consciousness in which ALL THAT IS resides, and of which we are all a part.
5) Colors, and their finest subtleties, are more recognizable to higher forms of consciousness–I think cavemen could not see the myriad of shades of color that can modern man.
